Mayor
Frank
DelCore |
Frank is Director, Trade and Projects Finance for Alcatel-Lucent. He holds a BA Degree in Communications
from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Frank has served on the Hillsborough Recreation Committee since 2005,
the Hillsborough Planning Commission since 2006, and the Sustainable
Hillsborough Steering Committee.
He has also served on the Hillsborough Grants and Shared Services Commission.
Frank and his wife and two daughters have been Hillsborough residents
since 2001.
Frank is committed to Hillsborough's future. With his strong
financial experience, his is pledged to maintain fiscal discipline and
work to increase ratables by continuing to support Hillsborough
business. He is also committed to fostering a family oriented
Hillsborough and supports the development of recreation facilities at
the former GSA Depot.

Deputy Mayor
Gloria McCauley |

Gloria McCauley was sworn in at the recent Hillsborough Township
Re-organization Meeting as a Committeewoman and will serve through
12-31-2011. Committeewoman McCauley was also appointed as the Township
Committee’s representative to the Planning Board and liaison to the
Economic and Business Development Committee.
Committeewoman McCauley, a 20 year Hillsborough resident and local
businesswoman, served as an elected member of the Township’s Charter
Study Commission in 2007.

Anthony
Ferrera |
Anthony has lived in
Hillsborough since 1991. Anthony graduated from Thomas Edison State College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. Anthony has
worked nearly 20 years at AT&T in a multitude of management positions (Industry Marketing, Strategic Partnerships and Finance). His main focus is developing strategic business
relationships and pursuing market opportunities through various industry and market sectors.
Community minded since early on, Anthony brings to his new post nearly 25 years of volunteer experience, teaching, coaching and
fundraising with the Special Olympics in Somerset County and the Organization for Autism Research. He now serves on the board of directors of OAR (Organization for Autism Research)
and is the Fundraising Chairman for New Jersey OAR. He and his team of local volunteers whom he has worked with over the years have begun a two-part quest to create awareness, by
holding quarterly socials & free educational session for parent’s with children with autism & holding events for the children and then ultimately to raise funds for autism research.
Prior to his election, Anthony served on the Economic and Business Development Commission in 2003. He has served as Deputy
Mayor and as liaison to the Agricultural Advisory Committee, ATV Advisory Committee, Board of Education, Board of Ethics, Board of Health, Credit Card Advisory Committee, Economic and
Business Development Commission, the Parks and Recreation Committees and the Tree Mitigation Advisory Committee. Anthony is also the Committee liaison to the Welfare/Social Services
Department, Municipal Court, Police Department, Rescue Squad and Office of Emergency Management. |

Carl
Suraci |
Carl and his family have lived in Hillsborough since 1994. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Mechanical Engineering degree and from Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University with an M.B.A.
Carl works in Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance. He is professionally affiliated with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and with RABQSA International, Inc. as a Quality Management System Lead Auditor.
Carl was elected to the Township Committee in 2003. He served as Deputy Mayor in 2005 and as Mayor in 2006 as well as on the Planning Board. Prior to his election, he served on the Recreation Commission.
Currently, Committeeman Suraci serves as Police Commissioner and on the Personnel Committee. He is also liaison to the following Boards and Commissions: Agricultural Advisory Commission, Board of Adjustment, Board of Education, Credit Card Advisory Committee, Economic & Business Development Commission, Board of Health, Parks and Recreation and Tree Mitigation.

Bob Wagner |
Bob and his family have lived in Hillsborough for over fifteen years. He graduated with a B.S. in Communications and Psychology from Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia
Bob is employed by Comcast Cable as a manager of the new Monmouth Junction call center.
Bob was elected to the Township Committee in 2003, served as Deputy Mayor in 2004 and as Mayor in 2005.
Bob is an active member of the Hillsborough Township C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) and is a fire police member.
Bob currently serves as liaison to the Police, Rescue Squad, Emergency Management, Capital Planning Committee, Hillsborough-Millstone Municipal Alliance and Open Space Advisory Committee. |

State Senator Christopher S. "Kip"
Bateman |
Kip
Bateman was born in Somerville and attended public schools in Somerset
County. He graduated from Ithaca College with a B.A. in history and
political science in 1980. He also is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School,
and in 1987, was admitted to the bar. Currently he is a partner with the
law firm of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley, Yospin, Kunzman, Davis and
Lehrer, P.C.
Kip has served the 16th
District in the Legislature since January 1994. He was Assistant Majority
Whip from 1994-1995 and 2002-present, and was Majority Whip in 1996. His
appointments include the Task Force to Study Homeowner Association from
1996-1997 and the Delaware and Raritan Transportation Safety Study
Commission from 1995-1996. Other public service includes serving on the
Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 1988-1994. In 1990 and
1991 he was Deputy Director, and in 1992, he served as Director of the
Chosen Freeholders. He also was a member of the Branchburg Township
Committee from January 1983 to February 1988, and was Mayor in 1986. He
also served on the Branchburg Township Planning Board in 1985 and 1986.
In addition, Assemblyman
Bateman is a member of the following community organizations: the Home
Sharing Program of Somerset County, Special Olympics New Jersey,
Branchburg Rotary Club, Midland Foundation, Somerville Elks, Somerset
Medical Center, Branchburg Historical Society, Washington Campgrounds
Association, Somerset Public Employees Charitable Campaign, United Way and
the New Brunswick Theological Seminary Board of Trustees.
Senator Bateman has
sponsored laws reducing auto insurance premium costs for policy holders,
allowing tax filers to contribute a portion of their income tax refund to
support the Drug Abuse Education Fund (DARE) program and creating a grant
program to provide thermal imaging cameras to fire departments and
companies throughout the state.
Senator Bateman and his
wife have four children. He is the son of former Assemblyman, Senator and
1977 gubernatorial candidate Raymond H. Bateman. |

Assemblyman
Peter J. Biondi |
Assemblyman Peter J. Biondi was born in Newark on June 23, 1942 and is a
graduate of Union High School. He served in the United States Army
Reserve from 1961 to 1967. Assemblyman Biondi serves as the Assembly
Republican Conference Leader.
From 1994 to 1997, the assemblyman was a Somerset County freeholder and
served terms as deputy director in 1995, and as director in 1996. He was
a Hillsborough committeeman from 1983 to 1984, deputy mayor in 1985 and
mayor from 1986 to 1993. He also served on the Hillsborough planning
board from 1986 to 1998.
Legislation Assemblyman Biondi has sponsored includes the following: a
measure to fund farmland preservation, to create a housing program to
assist seniors and persons with disabilities, to restrict door-to-door
sales by minors, to purchase thermal imaging cameras to assist
firefighters, to provide flood relief to victims of Hurricane Floyd and
to provide additional penalties for persons who are convicted of driving
under the influence of alcohol or drugs if they have a passenger in
their car who is under 18 years of age.
Assemblyman Biondi has served on a number of community organization
boards including the Somerset County Open Space Trust, the Somerset
Alliance for the Future and the Industrial Pollution Control Financing
Authority. He is a past co-chairman of the Somerset County Youth
Services Commission and a past president of the Somerset County
Governing Officials Association. He also has volunteered with the Jewish
Federation, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and the
March of Dimes.
The Assembly term to which he was elected in 2007 is his sixth.
He and his wife Joan married in 1965 and have two children, Peter and
Jennifer.

Assemblywoman Denise Coyle |
Denise
is a graduate of St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, cum laude, and received
her law degree from Rutgers University.
She joined the Freeholder Board in January 1996 after four years as a
Township Committeewoman and Mayor in Branchburg. She has served as
Freeholder Director and Deputy Director.
Denise spearheaded two Economic Development Summits which resulted in
award-winning, regionally focused Smart Growth initiatives.
She is economic development chair with the Somerset County Business
Partnership; a founding member of the Regional Center Partnership of
Somerset County and the county’s Economic Development Incentive Program;
a past president of the Somerset County Governing Officials Association;
and a member of the Somerset County Federation of Republican Women.
Denise is the recipient of the Diversity Award-Government from the
Somerset County Cultural Diversity Coalition; the Outstanding Women in
Somerset County Award-Government, from the Somerset County Commission on
the Status of Women; the Rolling Hills Girl Scout Council Woman of
Achievement Award; and the Millicent Fenwick Award for Distinguished
Public Service. She and her husband Dennis have two daughters and live in Bernards
Township.

Congressman
Leonard Lance |

Congressman Leonard Lance was elected to the United States
House of Representatives in November 2008 to represent New
Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. The 7th Congressional
District includes parts of Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset and
Union Counties.
Prior to coming to Congress, Lance served as a member of the New
Jersey State Senate beginning in 2002, where he represented the
23rd Legislative District. He held the position of Minority
Leader of the Senate from 2004 to 2008.
Lance was sworn in as a Member of Congress on January 6, 2009
and was appointed to the House Financial Services Committee,
where he will work on a wide range of issues relating to the
financial services sector and the American economy.
Before his election to the State Senate Lance served in the New
Jersey General Assembly for 11 years (1991-2002), where he
chaired the Budget Committee.
As a member of the State Legislature Lance led the fight against
borrowing without voter approval. In 2004 he successfully sued
Governor James McGreevey on the issue before the State Supreme
Court and in 2008 New Jersey voters approved the “Lance
Amendment” to the State Constitution, which requires all future
borrowing to be approved by the voters. Lance also authored the
successful effort to require funding for open space preservation
and he was the prime sponsor of the measure that established
funds for the New Jersey Cultural Trust.
Leonard Lance was the third generation of his family to serve in
the New Jersey State Legislature, following his great-uncle, H.
Kiefer Lance, and his father, Wesley L. Lance.
Lance was born in 1952 and raised in Hunterdon County, where he
attended North Hunterdon Regional High School. Lance received a
bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, where he was elected
to Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds a law degree from Vanderbilt
University and a master’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School
of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University.
Lance served as the law clerk to the Warren County (NJ) Court in
1977 and 1978. He was assistant counsel for county and municipal
matters to Governor Thomas H. Kean from 1983 to 1990. He has
been a member of the New Jersey Council on the Humanities and a
trustee of the Newark Museum, McCarter Theatre in Princeton and
Centenary College in Hackettstown.
He is married to Heidi A. Rohrbach and they have a son, Peter
Frank, who attends the University of Wisconsin. The Lances
reside in Clinton Township, Hunterdon County with Fritz, the
family’s 100-pound yellow Labrador Retriever.
